The "Centrum fuer Umwelt und Technologie" (C.U.T.) (Centre for Environment and Technology), with over 15 companies primarily in the environmental technology sector, functions as a competence centre for industry and commerce with regard to nearly all environmental issues. The WFO's centre management organises numerous events relating to environmental protection in industry. The C.U.T. thus offers a broad-based service for companies in the region which also assists foreign investors in understanding German environmental protection regulations.
