The "Verein für Wirtschaftsfoerderung Osnabrueck e.V. " (Osnabrueck Association for Business Development) represents large and small companies from nearly all business sectors in Osnabrueck. The association is a partner in WFO, so that the two organisations act together as a voice for industry and commerce with regard to the development of the city's economic policy. The goal of the association is the enhancement of the economic power of Osnabrueck and thus the improvement of business conditions for the companies located there. The association provides a broad forum in which its members can exchange ideas, e.g. at the Business Breakfast, which is held several times a year. For companies new to Osnabrueck, the Verein für Wirtschaftsfoerderung e.V. facilitates fast integration in the economic life of the city.
